In September 2018, we hosted our first clothing drive at the Safeway grocery store located in the Fairwood community. Many people came out to show their support and took time out to learn what we do and how we want to give back by helping others in need. During this event, we accepted lots of bagged clothing, shoes, toys, books and monetary donations.
Our team went above and beyond by making appointments for donation pickups with supporters who were unable to donate the day of the event. The outcome of this event was very fulfilling and we could not have done it without the support of our community.
We later partnered with FunDrive which is a fundraising service associated with Value Village Thrift Stores. The donations we collected were donated in order to receive profit to help fund our educational program for our youth transitioning from high school to college. Our goal is to continue this mission as we strive to help college bound students with the necessary tools and accessories.
Our organization accepts donations year-round and will be providing apparel materials to women shelters. Contact us by phone or email if you would like to make a donation.
